This is why I want to work for the Democratic Party as a strategist.  I realize that I can't really make decisions for the DSCC, but the DPA could always reverse all the poor decisions made by the DSCC by lessening funding to states out of reach (like AZ), which, of course, is what I would pull for if I had my way.

Ian, that's probably the best ranking I've seen so far.  It's really not partisan b/c you have the top 4 races evenly split and realize how much more vulnerable NJ is coming w/each blunder Menendez and Corzine make.

it's a longshot, but it's possible.  The reason Lott could lose is because turnout will be abysmal since there's no high profile races of any type to bring people out.  In districts 1, 3, and 4 House incumbents are facing token opposition, so those districts, where Lott would be very strong won't have many voters at all.  In district 2, however, the black district, Bennie Thompson is facing slightly-more-than-token-but-still-no-chance-of-beating-him opposition.  But Thompson will get his people out, as always.  He and Fleming are good buddies, and Fleming will get a lot of votes in District 2.  Fleming has been running a pretty stealth campaign, but he seems to be really doing a lot of it.  Considering how blacks don't turn out to vote, and it's still Mississippi, I'm afraid the deck is just way too stacked against Fleming, but it's not impossible that he could pull out an upset.

May I interest you in a bridge I have for sale?

Will Chuck Schumer finally cancel the $1.6 million ad buy in AZ now that TN and VA are within 5% and 6%?

If Ford loses by 2-3 points and Pederson loses by 20%, the DSCC will have some serious explaining to do.
