This is 100% revisionist history.  People forget all the good stuff Obama did because they're only focused on the big-ticket items.  In particular, they're only focused on health care.

The first couple weeks of the Obama administration were an absolute whirlwind of legislation being passed, reforms that Democrats had been clamoring for throughout the W era.  America in December 2008 and America in April 2009 were like two completely different countries.  Then he had to rescue the global economy, which he did successfully.  And then it was time to try passing health care reform, where they lost their Senate supermajority in the middle of the fight, passed it anyway, and then got destroyed in the midterms.

Bush saved the economy not Obama when he was able to stop the financial system from collapsing in 2008 with TARP and he was the one who did the auto bailout not Obama.

This is 100% revisionist history.  Democrats passed exactly what they wanted in 2009-10, it's just that their party was much more diverse and had to cater to more rural, small state D's who wanted concessions on energy, health, etc.

Schumer's 50-person caucus is much more ideologically coherent than Reid's 60.  It's an apples-to-oranges comparison; 2008 Democrats are not interchangeable with 2020 Democrats.

You do realize the Rs tricked Obama on Corporation and Obama should of gotten rid of Legislative Filibuster and could have passed DC Statehood
