The Times Called Officials in Every State: No Evidence of Voter Fraud
The president and his allies have baselessly claimed that rampant voter fraud stole victory from him. Officials contacted by The Times said that there were no irregularities that affected the outcome.

Quote
Election officials in dozens of states representing both political parties said that there was no evidence that fraud or other irregularities played a role in the outcome of the presidential race, amounting to a forceful rebuke of President Trump’s portrait of a fraudulent election.

Over the last several days, the president, members of his administration, congressional Republicans and right wing allies have put forth the false claim that the election was stolen from Mr. Trump and have refused to accept results that showed Joseph R. Biden Jr. as the winner.

But top election officials across the country said in interviews and statements that the process had been a remarkable success despite record turnout and the complications of a dangerous pandemic.

“There’s a great human capacity for inventing things that aren’t true about elections,” said Frank LaRose, a Republican who serves as Ohio’s secretary of state. “The conspiracy theories and rumors and all those things run rampant. For some reason, elections breed that type of mythology.”

Every sane person knows there was ZERO fraud and Trump made this up because he's a sociopath who can't take losing.

I’m starting to think these claims of voter fraud may not being made in good faith.

No s***. And it's understandable for them to announce this. Secretaries of State are accountable to their constituents, and if their constituents voted a certain way for President, and that Secretary decides to ignore the will of their voters, it's a situation that threatens them and their credibility.

Trump and his cynical Washington sycophants don't care though because they need to keep their base energized and delegitimize Biden as much as possible before he takes office.

Do you really think the president would do that? Just get in front of a camera and lie? Huh

USPS finds ‘no evidence’ of mail ballot fraud in Erie case cited by top Republicans

Quote
U.S. Postal Service investigators found no evidence to support a Pennsylvania postal worker’s claims that his supervisors had tampered with mail-in ballots, according to an inspector general report — allegations cited by top Republicans to press baseless claims of election fraud.

Richard Hopkins, a mail carrier in Erie, alleged in November that he overheard the local postmaster discussing plans to backdate ballots received after the Nov. 3 vote and pass them off to election officials as legitimate. Working with Project Veritas, a nonprofit that seeks to expose what it says is bias in mainstream media, Hopkins publicly released a sworn affidavit recounting those allegations.

Sen. Lindsey Graham, R-S.C., cited Hopkins' claims in a letter to the U.S. Justice Department in November calling for a federal investigation into election results in Pennsylvania, where President Joe Biden beat then-president Donald Trump by more than 81,000 votes, and Democratic candidates outperformed GOP challengers in votes submitted by mail.

Graham and scores of other congressional Republicans refused to accept the outcome of the election for weeks, even after states audited and certified election results.
