Even though this scenario is wild, and Trump probably doesn't want to be one of 100 Senators than the one President, but what would happen if he wanted to get back into office and maybe give himself more of a springboard for 2024?
You choose the Dem Nominee. Discuss.

Hard to imagine a scenario where Trump doesn’t win. Hell he could probably primary Rubio even if Rubio wanted to run for re-election. Trump just got more votes in Florida for president than anyone ever has. If those people wanna vote for him for president it’s hard to imagine them picking a Dem for senate.

Lol Rubio is safe no matter who runs, they say Crist and Back Deming's are considering but it's best for Crist to run for Gov, AA don't like DeSantis and Miami isn't voting only 10 pts for Crist

A record for the most expensive senate race, imagine how much money democrats would throw to the poor sap who happens to be the nominee.

I asked this question a while back about Trump running for senate  and everyone here thought that would hilarious. Trump would not only be downgrading himself but seeing him in a committee hearing would very weird

Anyways this is Florida so he will win anyway if he chooses to run

The media coverage would be hilarious as well. It would easily be called "the most important Senate seat in the country" and Dems would put less emphasis on PA and WI.

Titanium Tilt R.

Trump by three points, but with polls indicating just enough of a competitive race that Dems sink all their cash into the race.

I read this thread title as if Trump was going to be the RuPaulian nominee. Lol.

Can you imagine the kind of speeches Trump would give if he were in the United States Senate? That's also lol.

If the very, very far-fetched chance that he runs, of course he'll win. Not by a large margin. It will likely be as close as his presidential win last year.

Ugh, never going to happen. But the most funny part about this would be Rubio still getting obliterated in the GOP primary after totally selling out to the orange buffoon for 4+ years.

It'd be interesting to see how Trump being on the ballot, even if only in one state, would impact turnout among anti-Trump voters nationwide. One would think that it would serve to nationalize pretty much every federal election in the country, which on its own would help Republicans in 2022, but if 2022 gets turned into another referendum on Trump then it would possibly help Kelly and Warnock and most likely Hassan, while really hurting some of the Trump district Democrats in the House.

Democrats spend a crap ton of money and lose embarrasingly (but still sorta close). Same goes for TX-GOV.

Honestly, long term, I think you’d be happier if you moved somewhere else that fits your politics. I mean I don’t see any demographic that will easily throw it back at the Democrats any time soon.
