Whether your favorite animated comedy show is 'American Dad,' 'Drawn Together, 'Rick and Morty,' 'South Park,' etc. can we all agree that they are all superior to 'The Cleveland Show?'

I don't even think it's terrible when I watched the majority of its episodes in the hope of it improving back when it was on, but it was just so forgettable and Cleveland just wasn't a compelling enough character to anchor his own spin-off.

What are your experiences and opinions on the show? If any.

Same as yours, it was fine, but forgettable.  Some people hate it, they'll be along shortly.

It's Seth MacFarlane at his usual, so of course it's bad...still better than Family Guy.

I have a general distaste for the whole animated sitcom in the 21st century thing. I find them universally annoying.

If it's a MacFarlane production then it must be bad.

At least it wasn't a Smuckers production.

You're just racist against black characters voiced by white actors.

Serious answer: yes, The Cleveland Show sucked. The supporting characters were uninteresting and Cleveland's too dull a character to work much with. I don't know what Seth was thinking when he decided Cleveland deserved a spinoff, but the show was short-lived for a reason.

I was always under the impression that MacFarlane wanted to pay homage to black centered spin-offs of primarily white sitcoms that were common in the 70's and 80's like 'The Jeffersons' or 'Family Matters.'
