April 12th, 1945: President Franklin Roosevelt died at Warm Springs Arkansas leading to Henry Wallace Becoming President
Wallaces  First Term: Wallace Passed the Civil Rights act of 1951 giving black people the right to use the same services without discrimination and also expanded The New Deal Policies of FDR however conservatives disliked this saying that expanding these policies would crash the economy however Wallaces New Wallace care provided universal healthcare but the GOP Wasn't his only Problem the Dem Party bosses were mad so in 1947. He Chooses Harry Truman as V.P and after A few days of Grilling, he made it leading to the 1948 Election Wallace was extremely popular with Farmers due to his farm programs and Poor People due to his New deal policies and Minorities due to his civil rights act and Middle Class Workers with his veto of Taft-Hawley act. However, the party bosses were angry and this lead to the Contested 1948 Convention which Wallace Narrowly beat Richard Daley LBJ and Even John Nance Garner. Leading to the 1948 Election But who were the Opponents. Thomas Dewey Gov. of New York won the GOP with Earl Warren as Running Mate, a splinter group Known as ''Dixiecrats'' lead by Strom Thurmond a Senator from South Carolina, and Wallace won big it was no contest  Wallace won the big Northern Midwest and Insturdial states and the West. While Dewey only won Northeast and Oregon.

Wallaces (Full term) Wallace Continued his policies of fighting for the Common men against the elites and his second term was more eventful his programs increased life expectancy and also helped the economy and helped Europe big time with his aid to Europe he did not run for a second full term and his V.P Harry Truman Was Very popular ( 1952 is Going to play out like 88) Truman ran against Earl Warren of California for President. Warren had leads in polls however Truman used Wallaces Popularity to comeback polls indicted close race but it was a landslide for Truman However, Trumans Popularity was short lived.
