For the sake of finding out more details about what happened yes, but it does increase the risk of a package of crackdown measures though it is worth noting those were passed after 911, but way before the commission report came out and many of the things in the commission report were not passed until 2007 because of opposition from the Bush administration for one reason or another. Implementing them was part of Pelosi's Six for 06 agenda.
