But I love him anyway.

Famous donors include:

Barbara Streisand
Paul Newman
George Soros
Norman Lear

Tax returns confirm Lamont made $2,800,000 in 2005:

Careful, Republicans become completely unhinged when they hear that name. They call him an anti-semitic "jew who managed to survive the Holocaust".

Those names alone are reason enough to vote against him.

Lieberman's donors are all Republican corporatist hacks.

General Contractors of America: 90% of donations to Republicans, donated $4,000 to Lieberman
Bechtel, Fluor International and Siemens: 64-70% of donations to Republicans, donated to Joey Isador
Florida Power and Light: 80% of donations to Republicans, $5,000 to Lieberman

Now we see who Lieberman really represents best in the senate.  I'll take Hollywood over General Contractors of America any day.

Lieberman is also rich and is mainly supported by the corporations and prominent Republican donors.

Well, at least Lamont's sources of funding give lie to the premise his campaign is a home-grown operation.

I seen a list of Spitzer's campaign contributors the other day and boy does he have some serious backers.  Everyone from multi-billion dollar hedge fund managers to sports stars to celebrities.

That's because he hasn't had serious opposition.  A lot of the support in that type of situation is bandwagon support.  People give because they want to buy access to a senator who isn't going anywhere soon.  It has little to do with whether they support his positions on the issues.

Lamont's income is lower than I would have expected.  As a founder of a cable company living in Greenwich, I would have expected more like $10-15 million as an income.

Wrong again, you right-wing hack!!!!

Lamont has a higher percentage of in-state donors than Lieberman:

Your estimate is likely closer to his 'real' income - surely you realize that the rich have ways of radically understating their income for tax purposes.

On the other hand, even an income of 2.8 million or whatever it was makes him richer than all but a minute fraction of americans..
