In 2012 Alabama, Kentucky, Arkansas, Louisiana, West Virginia, and Oklahoma had a significant number of protest votes against Obama for the 2012 primary.

Are there any states where this might happen against Biden in 2024?

Those are all states with significant amounts of ancestrally Dem-registered voters who don't remotely vote with their party anymore. I expect that there'll be plenty of protest votes in those parts, although probably fewer than in 2012 as more of those voters pass or reregister, and more new voters register as non-Dems. Even if there's no real primary opposition to Biden, there'll be a good few (see Keith Russell Judd).

States with lots of ancestral Dems(WV, Arkansas, Oklahoma, Ky, Louis, west NC, North Ala, north Fl, Western Pa) may see some protest votes

Also Some left wing cities like Seattle or college areas could see some as well( potential) but it won't amount to much
