More reason not to trust these idiots

Hell, I bet North Korea took advantage of this too. Bush's foolishness could be the world's #1 cause of nuclear proliferation now.

No one is demanding Bush give out nuclear secrets.

sarcasm my friend.  Smiley

Anyway, it seems like whomever did the posting of the material didn't realize what the information was, or didn't realize it had any practical application.

Wait a minute, are you saying Iraq was close to having nuclear weapons???

Surely that can't be. After all Saddam had long ago abandoned his efforts to build them. And he was no threat to us or anyone else. Getting nuclear weapons would have been pretty threatening on his part.

The documents are from Iraq's pre-1991 program. They were closer to having a nuclear weapon before 1991 than after.

Is anyone under some illusion that the Iranian nuclear program, which employs hundreds of Soviet trained weapons experts, needs to search the internet for weapons design tips?

Suddenly, the NYT is worried about secrets getting out to our enemies.

Fricken hilarious.
