In a now-deleted propaganda video, China threatened to nuke Japan following comments made by Japanese leaders vowing to defend Taiwan from Chinese invasion.

The nearly six-minute video, which was posted to the Chinese Communist Party-sanctioned channel Xigua, featured images and videos of Chinese war machines, such as tanks and fighter jets, edited into pictures of a devastated 1940s Japan following the World War II U.S. nuclear strikes on Hiroshima and Nagasaki.


The video had 2 million views, according to Taiwan News, before being deleted. It has since been reposted on YouTube and partially on Twitter, where it was translated with English subtitles.




The video references Japan's defeat in World War II before promising "full-scale war" against the only country to have ever been nuked. The video also said there "will be no peace talks."

These nationalist zealots are thankfully too stupid to realize that the CCP view them as expendable.

Xi can easily order them censored or crushed. That's what Cixi did with the Boxers, and what Mao did with the Red Guards. After whipping up these youths to prop up their rule, the rulers had them crushed by establishment political forces.

What makes you think they are paper?

The more I think about it, the more I think that just a decision to invade Taiwan, without even firing a shot, would cause things to spin out of Beijing's control. It could very easily end in Xi facing a firing squad before he even has a chance to order an attack on Taiwan.

At the point, we succumb to those threats, the world already has lost. I want my nation to defend Taiwan by all means possible.

I also support Japan having nuclear weapons, and I want the US to give some nukes to Japan for free (like 200).

The Chinese government doesn't fear Taiwan because of democracy, lol. They let Chinese students, businessmen, and tourists visit Taiwan, and the vast majority of them come back still supportive of the CCP. The average person in China is not clamoring for democracy, nor are they brainwashed by the government. Some of the nationalistic elements, maybe, but not more than to the extent that happens in the US.

The Chinese government fits Chinese cultural values, and its leaders deeply understand the people, and adapt now and then to keep them on side. What China doesn't like is American military and political influence so near its doorstep.

What makes you think they are paper?

I've given my reasons on here a dozen times, so I'm getting good at it.

1.no one in their entire chain of command has any actual experience fighting anything (other than a bureaucracy)
2.their equipment is all copies of copies, and mostly made in China
3.crossing 100 miles of sea to invade something that has had 70 years to prepare is a very very VERY hard thing to do militarily
