If any of you think Rita Hart is lucky to almost win in IA-02, Miller-Meeks has it even worse. While about 3,000 Biden voters did not vote in the IA-02 race, about 17,000 Trump voters did not vote in the IA-02 race for MMM!

Also, Don Bacon was lucky when Brad Ashford screwed up his 2018 primary. Ashford probably would have taken back NE-02 in 2018 just because he probably flips enough voters that were turned off by the attacks against Eastman. He then would have had the incumbency advantage in 2020 (and Joe Biden winning at the top of the ticket) to likely win reelection in 2020. Don't try to win a primary by not campaigning, folks!

Why Underwood? Biden won her district by 2%

Her opponent was a perennial candidate, the NRCC didn't even target her, and she still underperformed Biden by about a point. I'd say she was beatable.
