I don't think so. Staten Island is still pretty Trumpy, and I think his coattails would have still pulled Nicole over.

We wouldn't know yet due to how slow NY is at counting ballots. The backlash against BLM in places like Staten Island also really helped Trump, so his coattails may not be enough to put Nicole over the finish line. The main issue may become how badly NYC has been devastated by COVID. Toss up/Tilt D.

given all the crap in florida - i would think that the monmouths, suffolks and richmonds (si) would flip to the dems. Aren't the most GOP voters from those areas moving there. Also, given the expensiveness and rioting in the rest of NY, wouldn't voters from there be moving to those places?
