Yes.

Nobody is factoring in that Trump has business interests that rely on his public persona and civility in his departure from the White House.

Otherwise people will think he is behaving like a 3 year old.

He will only attend if he thinks there's a chance he might rush to the front of the stage and say the oath in front of the Chief Justice when Biden's about to say it, thereby remaining President on a technicality.
