Mass incarceration, student loans can't be discharged in bankruptcy, and essentially wrote the Patriot Act.

Don't break the law, spend within your means, and don't be a terrorist.

Look, I voted for Biden days ago, but mass incarceration, the student debt crisis and infringements on civil liberties in the over-broad PATRIOT Act are still problems that will need to be addressed.

Not to give OP any credit given his motive for starting it, but this is actually a good thread because there's quite a bit here I actually wasn't aware of.

He's supported a lot of things, advocated a number of things, but none of these "accomplishments" are particularly central.  There's no Wagner Act type legislation for Labor.  There's a correct (from a liberal perspective) voting record, but that's about it.  Most of these "accomplishments" are rather pedestrian.  Lots of big bills have scores of co-sponsors; when did Biden steer a major piece of legislation to victory.

To describe Joe Biden's career in a nutshell:  It's worthy of a Participation Trophy.  He's no Sen. Robert F. Wagner (D-NY).  He's not even Bill Bradley.  He's not even Al Gore who did more to shift the Democratic Party toward the environmentalism that, for better or worse, is a signature issue.  He's a mediocrity.  And he's not even a Working Class Hero anymore (if he ever was).  Paul Wellstone was a Working Class Hero.  Joe Biden isn't Paul Wellstone.

Good thing we don't need Paul Wellstone for this moment. We just need someone who can say their ABCs without insulting a random reporter in her mid 30s.

That's not Joe Biden:

Joe Biden can't even meet this particular low bar.
