50% Trump
33% Biden
  6% Others
11% Undecided

In a similar DTN/Progressive Farmer Pulse of Rural America poll in 2016, Trump was leading Democratic contender Hillary Clinton 46% to 24%.

Would be nice to see them polled as two separate demographics. Farmers are not the same as 'rural voters' (though they are a subset) and I'd be interested to see them polled separately given how much Trump's policies have harmed them.

Similar story in the UK, most farmers voted for Brexit even though its highly likely to ruin them.

Gays? Jews? Farmers? Are these polls now being conducted on those niche dating websites?

So reading their press release, it's a poll of rural voters, not farmers, who are a small group even in rural areas (and farm laborers largely can't or don't vote). And this result is absolutely terrible for Trump, especially since we all know how inelastic the white rural southern vote is.

Trump +17 in rural America is incredibly bad for him. If I'm not mistaken that's roughly Bush-era levels. It's like those polls that show Trump leading by mid-teens in states like North Dakota and Kentucky. These are areas he needs to be winning by 25 or 30.

Yeah +17 is about what Kerry did (he lost by 15), and a bit better than Obama 2012 (where Romney won 20)
