StatesRights, thank you for posting this information.  While I had intended to make this a surprise announcement, I do not wish to deny the truth, and hereby proudly announce that my friend, Senator Dave Hawk, will be my Vice-Presidential running mate for the June election.

The Senator and I will be officially declaring our candidacy soon . I will also be making an official statement on my thread as well as contacting my constituents

If we are elected, however, there are bright new faces who will replace us.  I know, for example, my dear wife, Everett, would consider running for the Senate to fill my vacancy.  There are some I know who will consider running to fill Dave's seat, as well.
