Well Modu, you are increasingly resembling the character 'nelson,' on the Simpsons.

You are unable to adress an argument, acknowledge the fallacy in your own argument, and are reduced to "ha, ha."

The Bush-Modu argument is simply that if you cannot achieve perfection in an endeavor (whether it be deporting illegal aliens, apprehending murderers or trying to teach basic logic) you should abandon the attempt.

Now, the real world is a very imperfect place, and we need to deal with reality rather than perfection.

While I would acknowledge that we may not be able to apprehend and deport ALL illegal aliens (or aprehend and covict ALL muderers), I believe that we sould commit considerable resources to accomplishing both tasks.

The Bush-Modu fallacy is generally know as the perfect being the enemy of the better.

No, my point was you spun what I said to make a fallacious assumption, such as Opie does.  No where in what I said, nor what bush said, would dictate that we don't do anything with the illegals current in the country.  What I said was that we cannot deport all of them in the short term due to limitation of resources and finances.

Ah, but lets look a little closer -

Bush said that inasmuch as we cannot deport ALL illegal aliens, we should abandon the policy of enforcing immigration laws, and instead change the laws to in effect grant amnesty instead.

I know of absolutely no one what advocates enforcement of existing laws who believes ALL illegal aliens can be aprehended and deported. However, recognizing that fact in no way whatsoever constitutes an rational argument against enforcement of existing laws.

That's what I did. I had my problems with Bush, but absolutely despised John Kerry who is literally everything I could not stand about the left.

A lot of others I know voted for Bush just to stick it to Michael Moore, the media, and Hollywood as well.
