I never bought Kennedy being inevitable here. Competitive, yeah, but it’s not like Markey was ever even close to DOA, so I’m not sure why some people are that surprised that the incumbent Democrat is winning this race (even in MA, the "Kennedy name" only gets you so far).

Kennedy’s strength is with lower educated voters; he is leading those who have a high school diploma or less with 66% of the vote. Markey leads amongst all other educational groups.

Also, 60% think Markey will win renomination.

Wow, looks like this might not even be close. Seems running on having a popular last name and screaming "muh tweets!" isn't a very effective campaign strategy.

Yeah, the margin in all of these polls becoming so drastically large overnight makes me a little suspicious, but Markey hasn't seemingly lifted his foot off the pedal or anything so who knows?

In any event, though, it'll be very shocking at this point if Kennedy manages to win on Tuesday.

We've had five polls now showing Markey leading Kennedy (including one of Kennedy's own internals). It's amazing how Markey has managed to turn things around, and I am very happy that he has. Political dynasties need to be shown the door.

So if someone’s uncle or grandfather was a politician. You should be barred from running?

How stupid is that. If the people like what they’re getting. Who cares.

Although the voters make dumb choices. In 16, PA-MI-WI did. And now in 2020 Massachusetts is

I did not say that. Kennedy has been running on his family name, in a very explicit manner in this campaign. Sending out mailers and running ads featuring his grandfather RFK, and talking about how politics "runs in his veins." It's that kind of campaigning that I am opposed to. And you've been unable to articulate what exactly Kennedy would bring to Massachusetts, aside from his family name and his "youth".
