Too bad, Granholm is being blamed for job woes that she has no control over.

The problem is at the federal level.

Polls on the the race in Michigan seem to have one of two outcomes: totally tied, or a huge Granholm lead.  I have seen absolutely nothing in between.

I don't get it.

The Michigan GOP really does like nominating candidates with horrible names, doesn't it?

Although I don't think they will ever be able to beat Dick Posthumus.

She has a lot of control here. I think we're the only state in the union where single businesses are taxed even if they lose money.

She has a lot of control here. I think we're the only state in the union where single businesses are taxed even if they lose money.

NH has a tax on compensation paid (even if the company has a net loss). Plenty of other states have non-income taxes on business as well.
