He's only been around 2 years and he's already had like 5-6 of them.

The debate was great to watch. LaTurner went in on Watkins. Watkins seemed unprepared and a bit shook up.

I'm going to assume Watkins drops out now, because he's going to lose the primary at this point to LaTurner.

If Watkins does win the primary, Michelle De La Isla will win in November.

Watkins participated in a debate tonight and did OK, doesn't seem like he intends to drop out. He compared the allegations against him as comparable to what Trump is facing, which sadly could end up helping him.

I think he's going to lose....but for whatever it is worth, he claimed tonight in the debate that his internal polling has him up by 26 points.

LaTurner was appointed by Brownback to the treasurers office, he doesn't appear to be from the states 'rational' GOP wing. There's a long thread from King's primary filled with people who failed to understand that the GOP primary electorate will happily throw out weird crazy for understandable crazy.

Watkins has a really good ad (with respect to this being a Republican primary) calling it a collusion and witch hunt against a decorated American patriot. Easy to see that selling well with Republicans
