Wasn't John Thune the only unopposed Senate candidate since 2000?
Jeff Sessions 2014, and Mark Pryor only had a Green party candidate oppose him in 2008.

Victor Williams was the Democrat in Alabama in 2014. Pryor had token opposition in 2008.

This will probably be the first year I straight-ticket vote (R)

So are you a Clinton-Trump voter?

Yes, I voted for Clinton in 2016.

Because Jeff Sessions faced Victor Williams and Mark Pryor faced Rebekah Kennedy, doesn't that make John Thune the only unopposed Senate candidate since 2000?

Straight ticket (D).  Unless there is no Democrat for a certain race, which is often the case in SD.  In a race between a Republican and a third candidate, I’d probably vote third candidate.
If the Republican is unopposed (as was the case with Thune in 2010), I’ll have to leave it blank.

Are your state legislators Republicans? Have you ever had a Democratic one?

Voting straight D ticket this year, there's not a single Republican running in my area I could consider voting for.

I'm definetly ticket splitting this election. In the 2018 November election I voted straight GOP.
That's not possible as you'd have to vote for Feinstein or De Leon. Unless you moved since then.

He could have abstained from the Senate race.

Not sure. I'm voting Trump for President, but I'm not sure who I'll pick for Senate.

Does whether it's Ed Markey or Joe Kennedy make any difference for you?

I'd pick Kennedy over Markey, although I'd be open to either one or whoever the Republican is.

I'll be voting Democratic for Senate and House, and almost certainly will be voting for Biden at this point. However, I am going to cast votes for Republican candidates in my State House district and for District Attorney.

It's too much fun to vote for a candidate on some minor party line in NY, I voted for Maloney on the Women's Equality Party line instead of Dem.

Straight ticket Dem at the national and state level. I'll vote for some Republicans at the bottom of the ballot at the local level.

There's a slight possibility I may not vote D for my absurdly beyond Titanium Safe D State Senate seat depending on the primary results, based on some internal party issue stuff. I won't be voting Republican of course, if I don't vote D it'll be for one of the marijuana legalization parties if they havea candidate. I would vote D no matter what if it was a remotely competitive district of course.

Most people live in states that are politically affiliated with, Dems live in large cities and Rs live in rural states with urban populations like TX. When you remove Confederacy,  the South will vote R

Well this assumed the Auditor General candidate wasn't going to be Nina Ahmad. Maybe Tim DeFoor gets my vote but that's it.

I'm voting in Missouri, so straight.

If I were voting in Utah, I would be willing to split to vote for Huntsman for governor (assuming he wins the primary).

I'm voting for Biden, and I like my Democratic candidates for the House and State Legislature, so probably straight D.
