Election Time Constitutional Amendment

Voting shall commence immediately and end in one week.

The proposed amendment reads as follows:

All elections to the Presidency and the Senate mandated under this Constitution shall begin at 1800 Eastern Standard Time on the Thursday before the second to last Friday of the month in which they are scheduled to take place, and conclude exactly 72 hours later, except in the month of December, when elections shall begin at 1800 Eastern Standard Time on the second Thursday of the month and conclude exactly 72 hours later.

It is therefore put to you, the citizens of the Pacific, to vote on this amendment.  Do your thing.

Please vote yes, no, or abstain.

Hmm, I'm not sure if 6 is the right time.  It might be hard for a person to be there at that time.  I think it should just be the discretion of the SoFA between six and midnight, so:

Abstain

I'm afraid I have to echo True Dem's concerns, despite my initial support.

I like the consistency of three full days, no longer, no less (well, maybe a second here or there).

So, Nay.
