46% Biden
41% Trump

Biden’s lead among Blacks has not changed after his „you ain’t black“ comments.

I'm genuinely shocked by some of this data.

Klobuchar is only a few percentage points behind Harris with black voters, and she HELPS him with minority turnout.

Cortez-Masto HURTS him with Hispanic voters

Warren gives him a HUGE boost with everyone, and is a polling error away from barely hurting him with 45+ voters at all.

Klobuchar doesn't push away anyone and Cortez-Masto also alienates everyone.

I'm kinda being sold on Warren, if some more data could corroborate this.

At that point my only issue with Warren would be her age.

How much can we trust this data though?

But I thought Warren would be too polarizing to be on the ticket?! /s

To be fair, name recognition likely plays a big role into why CCM isn't doing well though it doesn't entirely explain everything of course.

Warren is the obvious choice for VP.

First of all, can Morning Consult please just PUSH people a little bit? These constant polls of 13-15% undecided are getting ridiculous. Can we at least get a "lean" option?

Also, it would appear that Harris and Warren are pretty close, and that's only b/c Warren has more name recognition.

I don't believe for a second that somehow adding Klobuchar would add a net 12% more likely with blacks - that doesn't jive with reality.

A lot of these polls also likely undersell Biden, b/c the most "undecideds" come from younger people and minorities, who are all most likely to break for Biden.

Voters <45: Biden 47%, Trump 34% (19% undecided/other)
Voters >45: Biden 45%, Trump 45% (10% undecided/other)
Hispanic voters: Biden 53%, Trump 29% (18% undecided/other)
Black voters: Biden 76%, Trump 9% (15% undecided/other)

Not that the white LGBT female activist demographic is in question for Biden, but Warren as VP would make me feel much better about Biden if only because I know Warren is a great person to take over if anything happens, or in 2024.

God forbid that Joe Biden picks Elizabeth Warren. However, I think he is leaning towards Kamala Harris (who I don't like either). Warren as his running mate would hurt Biden in the Midwest and with independents, and would give Trump additional fodder to use against his campaign.
