With midnight end of session deadline the Democrats just forced through a mega omnibus bill and Republicans are absolutely losing their sh**t. This is Taiwan sh**t. Never seen anything like it.

Republicans had been filibustering pretty much everything for a week so with an hour left in the session Democrats called the question, and forced through a mega omnibus bill including all the major remaining bills.

That's the thing, it was mainly just boring off year stuff. In MN budget bills are passed every other year and almost all the big things were passed last year. Maybe the most controversial thing this year was raising minimum pay standards for rideshare drivers. The biggest thing they were supposed to do this year was bonding (borrowing for state construction projects) but you need 60% for a bonding bill and both sides could not agree.
