I'd like to have a nice long list of the real and significant differences between Biden and Trump that we could present to "tHeRe'S nO dIfFeReNce BeTwEeN tHe TwO" Bernie supporters. Just a few that come to mind:

1) Replacing RBG and possibly Stephen Breyer (age 81) on the Supreme Court, and therefore preventing an existential threat to Roe vs Wade (to put it mildly).

2) De-escalating tensions with the second largest economy in the world, China, so we can focus on real issues like Hong Kong and Taiwan.

3) Rejoining the Paris Climate Agreement.

Post any that come to mind! I'll group them and post the full list periodically.

Would sign pretty much any piece of progressive legislation that made it through both houses (yes, if M4A somehow made it through the senate, I believe he would sign it).

If Trump wins, Republicans lose badly in 2022/2024

If Biden wins, Democrats lose badly in 2022/2024 because he will be a weak and ineffective leader, assuming that he doesn’t just create a shadow government to run the country for him while he serves as a figurehead that shows himself to the public every once in a while

With Biden we are likely to have a return to a competently run universe of executive departments headed up by experts and people who know what the heck they're doing instead of friends of Donny who played golf with him at some point and are eager to kiss his backside for personal power.

I mean, there's a reason our response to the pandemic has been just awful, disjointed, and counter productive...

Does anyone honestly believe that Biden’s response would be any better? The dude was whining about xenophobia when Trump was putting a travel ban on China, and he vanished for a week, showing no leadership at all, when the outbreak started

If Trump wins, then not only will there be a conservative majority on the Supreme Court for a generation to come, but so many conservative judges will have been appointed to the federal bench that the judiciary will basically be a de facto conservative branch of government, & at that point, it doesn't matter how progressive a future President is. If this alone doesn't convince somebody who's not okay with that to go & vote for Biden in November, then don't ever complain about a court ruling that strips away rights & protections for marginalized people. Don't complain when abortion rights are rolled back. Don't complain when anti-LGBT laws are allowed to stand. Don't complain as court decisions are made that favor big corporations over consumers.

On a further note, anybody who thinks Biden wouldn't sign progressive legislation into law if it was put in front of him on his desk is naive at best & just stupid at worst. Of course he would, & Trump wouldn't. It's as simple as that, really.
