Well, when this NRCC hack finally does something about Trump and the GOP sh**tting on blue states constantly, acting as if we owe them a favor for protection, I will have something to say about this. But until then, all those bootlickers who would call us not "Real America" can go shove it. And Malinowski is a fine Rep, I hope someone makes him Secretary of State at some point.

As long as he wasn’t referring to those from Louisville, Frankfort, or Lexington.  Everyone else there keeps voting for McConnell.

I'll get upset about this just as soon as Trump stops playing games with resources based on governors being nice to him. In fact there really is nothing to get upset about here since this was actually a joke.

Remember when Republicans "joked" about withholding Sandy aid to New Jersey?  Oh wait, that wasn't a joke...

That's what happens when McConnell doesn't wanna give more money to the people who really need it.

Yep. This feels a classic case of "reap what you sow".

The irony is that NJ has been hit far harder than KY by the Covid crisis

Even the libs are seeing triggering the gop as a policy goal. It’s like looking into a mirror

This was an extremely inappropriate comment to make, and far more so for a Congressman with the constitutionally mandated ability to act on even the hint of a suggestion that he might harm fellow Americans for political purposes.
But I find it difficult to get as worked up about this as the NRCC appears to be, because (a) this will never make it into any official policy proposal that Pelosi would allow to leave the House floor, and (b) this impropriety pales in comparison to the administration's actual, concrete actions to divert resources away from the states hit hardest by the virus because they had the temerity to vote for Democrats, which is at least five or six orders of magnitude more improper because it actually has a tangible human cost.

Even the libs are seeing triggering the gop as a policy goal. It’s like looking into a mirror
There's a difference between "policy goals" and "red meat for the base", and between the Democrats and Republicans currently in power, only one side seems to understand the difference.

Instead of sending in ventilators and PPE to Kentucky, NJ is going to send pot and bongs.

Bad joke, obviously a joke. Not an actual issue. Malinowski probably raised some money from netroots types off it without having to actually give them any policy concessions.
