I just wanted to pop in and lend my support to Senator MasterJedi, and hope that my supporters in his Region support his bid for re-election.  He's doing a fine job as PPT, a job made harder by the fact that we had no VP for a short time and he had to carry double the load.  Re-elect MasterJedi, and the force will be with you.

Thanks a lot Ford, I greatly appreciate that. And to the people of the Mideast I hope to make a speech this weekend or early next week after my midterm exams are over. Smiley

Milwaukee, Wisconsin

*Crowd cheers as MasterJedi walks up to the podium*

People of the Mideast, today I officially go out on the campaign trail for re-election to my Senate seat. In this past term I have gotten a lot done for Atlasia and I hope everyone has seen this. I’m trying to improve the country as a whole and by this the Mideast will benefit.

Right now what I have planned is an amendment that would make sure that when Senators vote abstain on amendments it is an abstain and not a nay. It makes it so Senators don’t have to choice yes or no. I’m also trying to get the term limits for how long the PPT can serve eliminated. Though I will probably not try for more than 4 terms I believe it is something that should be passed. I am against term limits; I feel it’s the people who should make the choice if they want to keep a person in office, not some law. I am also open to suggestions from any concerned citizens, just send me a PM and I’ll be sure to help you. As for legislation in the Mideast, along with Frodo I have written a bill that will help clean up the Great Lakes, you shall see it tomorrow after the Mideast Gubernatorial Election.

In a previous poll some people have said they would vote for someone more liberal and I ask why? I am not too far to the right; I have proposed bills that many people on the right wouldn’t. So I’m here to say, Vote MasterJedi for the future of the Mideast and strong leadership in the Senate.

*Crowd cheers as MasterJedi appears*

Citizens of the Mideast, this will be the second last speech I will give to you unless somebody pops into the race this late. Today I would like to take the time to show you how I will vote on upcoming bills or one’s that have yet to be voted on on the Senate floor.

Department of Housing and Urban Development Reduction Bill- I will vote Aye because it only cuts it a little and gets rid of a useless part of it.

Public Interest Amendment- I will be voting Aye on this, it’s an amendment we’ll need to help make Atlasia a better place to live in.

Electoral System Reform Bill- There’s flaws in it but I might vote Aye on it if a lot of things change on it. If Peter Bell gets into the Senate this will happen and I’ll probably vote Aye then.

Office of Personal Management Reduction Bill- I am currently undecided because I have no idea what this department does. When it comes up and I figure it out I’ll decide how I’ll vote then.

Abstain Means Abstain on Amendments Amendment- Since I introduced it I will vote for it. It makes it so when somebody votes Abstain on an amendment that’s what happens, they abstain and it won’t count as a Nay vote.

Term Limits Amendment- I will be voting against this. Besides screwing up the Presidential term the people should be able to decide if they want to keep the person in or not, it shouldn’t be legislators plans.

Term Limit Removal Resolution- This gets rid of term limits for the PPT. I’ll be voting for it and I probably won’t serve more than 4 terms as PPT if I can get elected that long.

National Sin Tax Bill- Not sure about this, will have to decide with debate.

Federal Capital Punishment Abolition Bill- I believe this is already done for federal crimes but I could be wrong. I support capital punishment so I will vote Nay.

Elimination of Selective Service and Conscription Bill- Though we don’t need the draft now we need to keep it in case something awful happens in the future. This makes it so nobody can be drafted and could really screw us up if we’re in trouble. The Selective Service should be expanded to woman as well since we’re all equal.

Palestinian Authority Aid Elimination Bill- I’m not sure how I’ll vote on this. The Palestinian people need economic and medical aid and help but this is a terrorist state. I’ll have to wait to see.

Thank you for giving me the time to get this out to you. My next speech will be on the environment which I have fought for strongly in the Senate before and will continue to do in the future if you re-elect me. I hope you come out in a few weeks and vote MasterJedi for the future prosperity of the Mideast and Atlasia! Good Day and God Bless.

Richmond, Virginia

*MasterJedi walks out to a huge cheering crowd*

Citizens of the Mideast, since I have acquired an opponent I will now go back on only making one more speech. Today I come to talk to you in part about the environment. I have made steps to preserve and protect it during my term as Senator.

The Earth is fragile and it needs to be protected. I will continue to try for an Atlasia that works on clean energy that can help all. We also must try and preserve more land and the Atlasian government can do that.

Switching to other things we’ll also need to take a hard approach to Hamas, if they are not willing to stop their terrorist activities and continue to attack Israel we should allow them to do what they need to protect themselves (though they must stop short or torturing and attacking citizens). If Hamas will stop they will be sure to keep going for piece.

Along those lines Iran must be dealt with as well, but on a different way from DanielX’s current mission that seems to be failing. They must not be allowed to gain nuclear weapons that can be used to attack other, peaceful nations.

Going back to the Mideast I hope to fix the Closed Shop Ban Initiative soon so that it will be passed by our people. I have also as you know introduced the initiative that makes it so gays can’t be discriminated against in obtaining jobs.

In my past terms as Senator I have served the Mideast well and I hope you see that. Vote for me in the coming weeks to keep what you have, a great active Senator in the Senate. I will be running again for PPT, a great leadership position in the Senate and if I win I will keep the Senate moving as it is now.

A vote for MasterJedi is a vote for leadership and activity and a Senator who will not only vote along party lines. Vote MasterJedi for victory!

You have my official endorsement.

We need a Senator who keeps the Mideast and those who elected him at the forefront of his mind. MasterJedi does so contributing not only to national but regional politics and attempts to apply bi-partisan solutions to regional and national concerns. There is no shame in concensus politics and I hope that MasterJedi will continue to serve the Mideast as their Senator with distinction.
