That's bad, the courts should not be having "debt courts" every three months.  Why don't these people declare bankruptcy?

Declaring bankruptcy is no small thing. Losing necessary vehicles is a particular concern in rural areas

Anyway, this is disgusting. Our country should be better than this.

Declaring bankruptcy is no small thing.
meh, it was certainly easier than say, a semester of Trig in high school or minor surgery.  Harder than going to the dentist, sure, but it's not that big of a deal.

Evidence that government responsive solely to economic elites is a nightmare for everyone else. Such is the ideal of some Americans -- that no human suffering is excessive so long as it serves the economic elites.

People who cheat creditors should be prosecuted and sued. Inability to pay is not cheating.
