When the NFL was first created, there was a lot of racism. In fact, the reason the Green Bay Packers were so successful early on is because they allowed non-White players to play, giving them an advantage by increasing the talent pool. But now, we see that the NFL has gone too far and is racist in favor of Blacks and against Whites.
Antonio Brown recorded Jon Gruden without his knowledge and posted it online. This breaks the law. If you haven't seen it, here is an article about it:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/27555690/ab-posts-video-using-recorded-call-grudenThe NFL has not suspended Antonio Brown. There were reports the Raiders were and then backed off. What this article also enlightens us about is that Brown called Mike Mayock a "cracker", which is a racist slur against White people. So far, no suspension from the Raiders or the NFL.
That's not the only form of racism that is regularly occurring in the NFL against Whites, though. There was an NFL survey in 2014 that showed the league was 68% Black, 28% White, and the other 4% was either Asian/Pacific Islander, non-White Hispanics, or mixed race. The vast majority of the players come from the NFL, and the USA population is about 28% non-White (around 13% Black):

No team can hire any White coach without first interviewing a non-White coach, however, any team can can hire a non-White coach before interviewing a White coach. This is clearly racist, and now the NFL says they want to go even further because the Rooney Rule isn't getting enough non-White Head Coaches jobs:
https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/28593376/roger-goodell-says-nfl-needs-changes-rooney-ruleThere have been other moments. Martellus Bennett once called Wisconsin racist and said he had to go to Milwaukee to "get [his] Black card renewed". There is a lot more to it (which you can see here:
https://www.greenbaypressgazette.com/story/news/2018/10/30/packers-fans-martellus-bennett-continue-feud-twitter/1817835002/), but to sum it up he was never suspended by the NFL.
The NFL is allowing open season on White fans, White players, White coaches, etc. I didn't include it because it's less empirical, but there is an argument to be made that there is racism in scouting with White athletic players being constantly referred to as "unathletic" or players that simply try hard. The evidence has mounted to declare the NFL racist against White people IMO.
I'm not just here to identify a problem, though. There are simple solutions that would go a long ways. Lets get rid of the Rooney Rule for one. If not, lets institute a some sort of similar policy for players. How about the NFL create some sort of outreach programs for those underrepresented as players to effectively match the Rooney Rule's idea. As you can see, despite Blacks being extremely overrepresented as players in the NFL, the NFL has outreach programs for historically Black colleges:
https://operations.nfl.com/the-players/development-pipeline/college-outreach-program/I believe the NFL can do better on equality than what it has been doing.
