Thoughts?

I wasn't expecting it to have all the old shows of the 1990's and 2000's on it, from the original Ducktales to Gargoyles to Spider-Man to Lizzie McGuire to Kim Possible. Also having all the Disney Channel Original movies, and also the Disney cinematic releases that weren't really Disney like Flubber. The Mandalorian is good so far too.

I'm not sold on it yet. I have a VHS player still and many of the Disney movies I would want to watch in that format still. I want to see what other original content they come up with before I shell out more money for streaming services. Nostalgia isn't enough for me, and I'm not even that interested in 'The Mandalorian' so far.

Other than The Mandalorian (which is great by the way), there really isn't much available for me yet that I didn't already have access to.  I was told the Adult Swim library was to be available, but it ain't there.  The Simpsons cropping isn't cool.

So far, I'm not happy with it.

Using it to watch the 1990s Spider-Man. The app doesn’t seem well thought out. Doesn’t seem to have a “continue watching” option, nor a “start from beginning” button, so I have to hunt down where I was last.

No. Why would anyone ever pay money for this?

Have you looked at the "by decade" option?

I'd be surprised if you really had all of that.

I should have worded that better.  "There really isn't much available for me yet that I'd actually want to watch that I don't already have access to."

Until The Clone Wars Season 7 is out, there's nothing it can offer me that I can't find elsewhere.

Isn't Adult Swim owned by Cartoon Network?

yeah, I'm starting to think I might be crazy.  I could have sworn I read (or was told by someone) that the Adult Swim library, in full, was going to Disney+ (or Hulu, which I have as well).  Hulu has some, AS content now, but only a fraction.  Oh well.  In time there will be stuff I'll watch, I just think we may have got in to early.

How many <curse words> streaming services are we going to need?  Eventually it's going to cost as much as cable did.

Disney+: Because our company that's worth over 100 billion dollars will totally go bankrupt if we let Netflix take a bit of profit from broadcasting our movies and TV shows.

While we're talking about Disney Plus in general, have any of you seen how they changed the Han and Greedo scene in their version of 'A New Hope?' I'll link to it, but it's probably the strangest thing that has ever been retroactively added to a 'Star Wars' movie...and that's saying a lot:

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=mH19gKo7W7w

I'm probably late to the party in discovering this, but when Greedo, in a voice completely different from his own, says "Maclunkey" (or whatever), without subtitles; it was the hardest I laughed in some time. It's such a terrible edit that it's a wonderful edit. I love it.

Oh, and while I'm posting, I was a bit harsh on the service in my earlier posts; and I stand by it, but there is definitely some use for Disney Plus in its current state that i just realized. If you do happen to have young children and want to expose them to all of Disney's classic animated movies, you have them all in one easy and accessible place now. I can see why some would pay the monthly fee for that. It doesn't apply to me, but I get that.

They shoot at almost the exact same time now. I found it hard to pay attention to thatd etail since I was so thrown off by "Maclunkey!"
