I hope that she emulates Obama's foreign policy for the most part, since I think he generally found the right balance between realism and Wilsonianism. It didn't necessarily work out all that well in the long term, but I view the NATO intervention in Libya as a prototype for all future military actions, in that the U.S. didn't commit ground troops, but led a multinational coalition that supported rebels against a dictator. The emphasis on engaging traditional rivals also could have been hugely beneficial if not for Trump basically undoing the Iran deal. My biggest criticism of Obama's foreign policy is his reliance on drone strikes, so I hope that she would use them much less than he did.
