I've only read this thing today, since I try to stay clear of any Atlasia/Discord related stuff (for a good reason, it seems), and now I'm like sitting here and shaking my head. I'm not referring to political and social views expressed in the chatlogs. I may find them abhorrent, but they obviously find my political positions abhorrent, so it's no big deal. But the level of toxicity is astounding. The thing with DFL was particularly f**ked up. Sure, you can say "it was a joke", but still, just coming up with this, and all the contempt displayed, doesn't reflect well on authors of such "joke". You guys have parents too ffs.

And please don't start with "but the left..." Sure, some people "the other side" may too be talking trash about you, engage in vitriolic attack, so the proper response is being equal or even more of a douchebags? OK, one can go this path, but by this you lose all right to claim you're being the better ones. I don't expect troglodytes like Yellowhammer to even understand that, but as of Fhtagn and PiT, you guys are better than this and I still believe this stuff is not what really represents you.

I was just venting my anger with how crazy and unhinged the western Left has become. They want to utterly destroy society as we have known it — systematically deconstruct it piece by piece — and ultimately that involves also destroying or terminating people like me. The Left is a movement that’s out to destroy everything that’s good — and to ultimately marginalize/exterminate those who resist and suppress their ideas into extinction.
I recognize the existential threat that they pose. I’ve decided that I shall not play the role of the frog in a pot of boiling water — I won’t just be an agreeable “nice guy” right up to the point where the knives finally come out for me. I’m not the most intelligent person in the world, but at least I’m not naive. I don’t want to speak for PiT or Fhtagn, but hopefully they have realized this as well.

Participating in this forum and getting a free glimpse into the destructive psychology of the up and coming generation of leftists has been an enlightening experience. I know them for what they are now, and I’m better for it.

Slow down there, Hunter S, you don't get to storm in here and claim the moral high ground. You were the one who said integration was a mistake. You were the one who seems to have forsaken his heritage in the face of newfound wealth.

You were the one who went from being a relatively inoffensive kid to a vindictive sh[inks]thead who relishes throwing bombs on the forum. I mean, how the hell did we go from this:

America is a good nation that has done some terrible things in the past, and it's still unjust on many levels today. I will be the first to admit that America has never been perfect, but we've been the best this world has seen throughout our entire existence. I love America, and more importantly I love the ideas that our founding fathers used to build it. America is too precious to lose.
We're a flawed country founded on great ideals, and it would do us a lot of good to not waste time bashing ourselves over sins of the past and instead address the issues of the present.

2) While I find your political views abhorrent in many cases (and I am sure you think the same about mine), I most definitely don't want to terminate/marginalize/exterminate you (or anyone with similar views). As long as everyone treats each other with respect, why would anyone have a problem. There is a reason why someone like Extreme Republican is a lot more respected (on the forum) than you. It's about tone in many cases, not policy.

I can't understand how you would view anyone with different views as an enemy that must be stopped at all costs. The left and the right (and the center, etc) all generally want to make the country (in this case the fictional Republic of Atlasia) better, they just disagree on how to do it and what should be done. Nothing else and nothing more.

While there are a lot of people in the right I completely disagree with and who I think are horrible posters, I don't doubt they want the best.

Gustaf has been solving reports on AFE lately and Virginia cleared through a series of unsolved reports in general last night that included one on AFE. But at this point neutcan be expected to be reliable.

I still think there are plenty of good-hearted, well-meaning people on the left who truly want to make the world a "better place." Maybe not the ideological forces driving the movement, but there are lots of well-meaning, ignorant people along for the ride. But the road to hell is paved with good intentions, and often times people are willing to commit unspeakable evil in the name of what they think is "good" or "equal."

When we aren't courageous, and we don't stand up to the extreme elements of destructive movements, civilizations are lost and innocent people die. Lots of them -- and it is a process that is already under way in the west. It has happened many times throughout human history.
