The phrase "anti-Semitic trope" has become a joke and devoid of meaning. It is used to silence and deflect any criticism of Israel at this point.
"I'm just criticizing Israel" is used to silence and deflect any calling out of anti-Semitism when it happens.
But when I said, “Crony capitalist (((bankers/elites)) *wink wink* have brainwashed the American mind,” I just meant it as a criticism of Israel. How could that possibly be anti-Semitic?
You're trying to label a gray erea as black or white. It is not automatically anti-semetic to criticize Israel, but it certainly can be. It's not that hard to understand. I can criticize my black neighbor for playing his TV too loud and it isn't racist. If I criticize his big lips it's probably racist. See? Not so hard.
I’m sorry. “Zionists, they just haven’t integrated. They just don’t understand irony.” How’s that sound? Or, you know, “I support Palestine, not Israel, and I support a one state solution.” What do you think are the implications there?
For the first quote, I need much more context... which Zionists? American? Israeli? "Integrated" where? In Israel/Palestine or America? I don't understand the meaning of the "irony" part, can you elaborate on that? I just can't interpret this properly without understanding it better.
The second quote is bad, but not necessarily violent. I disagree with it because Israel has a right to exist. Is it discriminatory or hateful against jewish people / culture / ethnicity though, or is it more about "our society was here first, therefore this is OUR land"? Hard to say. Do I denounce this quote? Yes. Would I swear in court that it is DEFINITELY violent or racist? No, but it definitely COULD be.
