Oh, well as long as other countries hate foreign migrants.

FYI 51% support deporting
33% only supporting temporary holding camps and want to NIMBY it by kicking it to US
Only 7% actually support keeping the migrants.

This shouldn't surprise anybody. Half of the reason why migrants come to the US is because Mexicans treat them like dirt. This will become obvious over the next few years as Mexico starts managing the bulk of deportations, ultimately reducing illegal migration into the US.

The US and Canada really do exist in a bubble when it comes to immigration. Nowhere else in the world, including Europe, would a major political party entertain the immigration policies of the current 2020 Democrats. Decriminalizing illegal immigration while massively increasing welfare spending is recognized as the stupid proposal it is in 94% of the world.

No other country in the world has a 2000 mile border with a large, considerably poorer country aside from the US. Not to mention that post-1965 immigration laws completely failed to account for the circular migration across the US-Mexican border, which contributed so much to the situation we're in.

Those countries have tough immigration laws relative to us so they dont need a fence. Additionally, they dont face the same crisis as us

It would certainly be a losing issue here.

You guys don't get it, the only reason the left in the US wants "open" borders is because their political enemies want "closed" borders and they must knee jerk be against anything those guys want.  They don't actually want the border open and would never make it happen.  They'll have the power back in the next few years and they won't do sh**t about it.  It's the same with the GOP and the deficit/debt, they bitch and bitch about it, but as soon as they start driving, they forget all about it.
