I think the president is doing a decent job so far, But a recession would lower my opinion of him and make me vote for a third party candidate.

Odd. The state of the economy is the one thing Presidents have the least control over and responsibility for.

War with Iran, Russia, or China. I supported Trump in 2016, because he would keep us out of war, something he has accomplished so far (I'm not white enough to care much about racial outrage issues and both parties are the same on the economy).

Since I live and vote in safely Democratic areas, I am pretty sure that I will vote third party or not at all in 2020 — but would lean towards Trump in a swing state. Even in that scenario, war with Iran would end any chance of my voting for him.

Maybe if they found out he was Obama in a Mission Impossible mask.

Yeah. I'd vote for a third-party candidate if Trump causes or gets in a big war of any kind too.

I have already stopped. His failed promises ended it for me, let alone the corruption. After 2017 was over, I had stopped rooting for him.

War with Iran, Russia, or China. I supported Trump in 2016, because he would keep us out of war, something he has accomplished so far already broken his promise on but I am a hack with my head in the sand so I do not care (I'm not white enough to care much about racial outrage issues and both parties are the same on the economy).

This is what you would be saying if you were honest, considering that this is a promise Trump has already (predictably for sane people like me who have disliked Trump all along) broken several times by now.

Unless he moves to the left of the Democratic Party, probably nothing. I don’t like him at all, but hardly anything would stop me from voting for him because every democrat is astronomically worse.
