I think he is pretty clever/smart at times but he can sometimes skirt the edge of what is acceptable here, so it's a bit problematic. Although I don't think that has been much of a problem for a while now.

I tend to agree with this assessment. I'd rather, at this junction at least, keep him around than see him banned.

He's not an HP, but he's not an FF.

His low opinion of Evangelical Christians has been made clear, and his hatred of Trump is obsessive.  There are many here of unlike mind that I could imaging having intellectually honest conversations with, and even find areas of surprising agreement.  In his case, I don't know that either would be possible.

His one redeeming quality is that he isn't an elitist.  I don't find his ranting to be fingernails-aginst-the-chalkboard irritating as, say, HagridOfTheDeep and that style of poster.

I found him very annoying in the beginning, because he starts so many out-of-context Orange Man BAAAAD threads/posts, but I've learned to love his fatalistic anti-Trump attitudes, and his passion as well. I can't understand if he trolls or not. Both?

Anyway, now I am enjoying each of his threads. Too bad he totally ignores me
