It's going to be intriguing to see who decides to run for the Democratic nomination now that Hillary is out of the race and who emerges as both their and the GOP's frontrunners.

I’m not so sure Kamala would seek the presidency as she doesn’t yet have the high-level name recognition/resume boost that would come with being a Senator. Interesting that Paul Ryan chooses to run without Hillary in the race.

Republican Presidential primaries, polling
Jeb Bush - 13.2%
Paul Ryan - 11.1%
John Kasich - 8.6%
Ted Cruz - 8.2%
Marco Rubio - 6.3%
Jon Huntsman, Jr. - 5.9%
Sarah Palin - 4.2%
Chris Christie - 4.0%
Mike Huckabee - 2.3%
Rick Santorum - 1.8%
Michelle Bachmann - 1.3%

JULY 31, 2015 - The first Democratic primary debate was held today featuring all 6 Democratic candidates. The debate was contentious and saw a few gaffes from Joe Biden which Bernie Sanders and Andrew Cuomo were quick to jump on.

Kamala Harris held her own in comparison to the bigwigs while Julian Castro seemingly collapsed under the pressure. Martin O'Malley was pretty much non-existent during the debate.

Overall, Bernie Sanders was seen as the winner of the debate while Kamala Harris was seen as the runner-up.

Democratic primary polling
Joe Biden - 38.6%
Bernie Sanders - 23.9%
Andrew Cuomo - 10.6%
Julian Castro - 9.8%
Kamala Harris - 6.3%
Martin O'Malley - 3.2%
Undecided - 7.6%
