New. Amy. Now.

The Backstory
It's the year 2020, President Donald Trump is going in to run for his Re-Election to the Presidency. Throughout his years as President, starting in 2017, he made numerous amounts of Cabinet Appointments, and Supreme Court Appointments. The Midterms were absolutely devastating, and so were a lot of votes on the Cabinet Nominees.
Betsy Devos (SoE)

Rick Perry (SoE)
Aye: 47
Nay: 53
Linda McMahon (SBA)
Aye: 49
Nay: 51
Andrew Wheeler (EPA)
Aye: 44
Nay: 56

Originally, in 2016, the Senate was in the GOP's Control, with them having 52 seats. They had a majority in the house, but only with 232 seats. Going into the Midterms, they knew that they were going to lose in the U.S. House, but by how many seats. They're only hope was to keep control of the U.S. Senate and keep it a Pro-Trump Senate. Senator Jeff Sessions resigned to become Attorney General, and Doug Jones won in the Special Election in 2017.

The Midterms:

In the U.S. Senate the GOP breathed a sigh of relief. They held onto the U.S. Senate with a 51-49 Majority. In the House though, there was mass panic. The Democrats picked up 50 seats, and completely shook up Washington. It was seen as a Democratic Wave nationwide. Notably, they also picked up multiple Gubernatorial Elections nationwide, their biggest in the state of Ohio where Richard Cordray won in an upset against Mike DeWine.
U.S. Senate
51 Republicans
49 Democrats
U.S. House
198 Republicans
245 Democrats
1 Vacant

2020 Democratic Primary

The 2020 Democratic Field started off early. The first person to announce their run for President was Representative John Delaney (He ran for Re-Election) he immediately announced after winning his Congressional Race. Then the announcements started rolling. Senator Kamala Harris was the 2nd to announce, than Senator Tim Kaine, then Senator Baldwin, then Senator Klobuchar. That ends off in March of 2019. This game will take place from March of 2019, will focus on the Democratic Primary, than the General Election.

I HOPE YOU ALL ENJOY!

True, I can imagine Amy telling her campaign, and making demands to her staff, exactly like Selena.

BREAKING NEWS WITH LESTER HOLT

Hi, I'm Lester Holt with NBC, and we have some Breaking News. Senator of New Jersey, Cory Booker officially announced his campaign for President of the United States today while doing an interview on Real Time with Bill Maher. Let's go to the clip now.

Bill Maher: So, recently there's been a good amount of people announcing that they're running for President. Are you thinking about throwing your hat in the ring?

Cory: Umm

Bill Maher: C'mon you know you want to.

Cory: Well, Bill, I actually plan to announce a campaign for President in the following weeks. But, it seems like you moved that date up a bit.

Bill Maher: Well, it looks like I did. Cory Booker everyone!

Beto, In.

Former Representative O'Rourke announced his bid for President of the United States on a video posted on Twitter today. Here's a clip from his announcement:

We must ensure that together we are fighting for Americans. I was proud to win 49% of Texan's votes in 2018, and now it's time that we take that to the General. We're going to win this primary, and this General Election, because we're going to do it together.
