Explanatory Statement: The first part of this is modeled after S. 2322 of the 115th Congress, which passed the US Senate. The US House adjourned before the bill could be properly taken up. The second part comes from proposals from Mr. Reactionary.

Section 1 of this bill deregulates the definition of natural cheese, ensuring that it includes all standard types of cheese and products substantially based from natural cheese, including things like Feta Cheese and ranch-coated cheese curds. It also ensures that processed cheese, like Velvetta or Kraft Singles, is not counted as natural cheese. This common sense legislation passed the 115th US Senate with bipartisan support, unfortunately it failed to reach the necessary 2/3 threshold that the house required to pass legislation at such a late date, though it did get a bipartisan vote of 230-162. In accordance with typical atlasian procedures, the bill has been stripped of congressional jargon so that we are only voting on its major provisions. I encourage the South to do better than the alternate universe by actually passing this into law.

Section 2 of the bill combines several proposals from Mr. Reactionary to deregulate the sale of aged cheese, spiced cheese, imported cheese, and the processing of yogurt in the home.

I urge all delegates to support this.
