Jon Tester has that haircut and #populist quotes.
Schweitzer has that veto brand and calling Feinstein a prostitute.

What does Steve Bullock do differently from a generic D to win in Montana?

What gives him that populism?

You're born with a certain number of populism midichlorians, and Steve Bullock's count is off the charts. He's basically Montana's version of Anakin Skywalker.

This must mean Schweitzer is Obi-Wan... no longer brave enough for politics.

Schweitzer is Qui-Gon Jinn. Once seen as a master by some, but actually kind of a dumbass whose hubris led to his downfall.

He was more pro-gun, but shifted stances a little after he won reelection in 2016. I think he's also a bit more fiscially conservative (what is a good thing).

LOL, not at all.

Don't know, but apparently, he's so popular that he can come in and defeat an incumbent senator in a R+9 state. I mean, just look at how impressive his two election wins were!

Don't know, but apparently, he's so popular that he can come in and defeat an incumbent senator in a D+9 year in a swing state. I mean, just look at how impressive his two election wins were in R wave years!

Careful, the same was said about Rick scott

Florida is not a state that votes Republican or Democrat by double digits.
