Yes, obviously still overwhelming loss, but maybe something like 61-37. This is basically one of the only super large counties population wise that I see him improving in 2020 from 2016.

Warren being the nominee could help him there.

If DeSantis is popular it will definitely help Trump.

If the nominee is a left-winger like Sanders or Warren who either is a socialist or can be tied to socialism, yes.

No. Its just downballot leaking. IRL won by 20 points in like an Obama +1 district. FL 25th should be a D district by 2030

Yes, of course. Cubans disliked Trump in 2016 but have warmed up to him now, and a Sanders/Warren type nominee being the nominee wouldn't help.

Probably, because Florida is the most nightmarish state in this nightmarish country.

This thread is peak atlas

Miami Dade has swung D since the year 2000 including 2012 and 2016 when the only time the country swung D was in 2008.

I'm not sure, but I wouldn't be shocked if some Cubans came back home given they voted for Trumpist Ron DeSantis in a landslide.

Then again, Cubans have shown themselves to be a lot more Republican downballot than they are in Presidential races. In 2016, Rubio won (and comfortably at that) quite a few Cuban-American state house seats that Clinton won by double digits on the same ballot, for instance.
