Zell am See county is typically an ÖVP (= Conservative) stronghold, but the Social Democrats and the FPÖ (Far-Right) have also done well here.

The FPÖ did best in the last Presidential election, winning 58% and 53% of the vote in the runoff (in which the Green VdB got elected President). That's because unlike bigger urban and suburban areas, the rural ÖVP- and SPÖ-voters here voted for Hofer (FPÖ).

For the upcoming municipal election in March, Zell am See is safe ÖVP (even though the SPÖ dominated the city for decades. But the times have changed).

For the upcoming EU election in May, Zell am See is also safe ÖVP.

Fairfield County, CT (home): Titanium D, was the only Connecticut county to swing D in 2016.  Highly unlikely to improve for Republicans with Trump in office.

Virginia Beach, VA (current): Toss-Up/Tilt R.  Trump won it in 2016 but would lose it against the right ticket.

I might as well do all five that I have lived in since they all voted for Trump, first time they all went GOP since the 1980's:

Susquehanna, PA: Safe R
Broome, NY: Toss-up/Tilt R
Chenango, NY: Safe R
Johnston, NC: Safe R
Wayne, NC: Lean R (depends on candidate and minority turnout)

Alameda County, CA - Titanium Safe D

Last voted Republican in 1956. Currently just 14% of registered voters are Republican.

Fairfield County, CT: Independent, but leaning Democrat.  The larger cities and towns in the county can be very deep blue (or if you're looking at the reversed version of a political map, aka "Democrats are red"...deep red)

As an example, take Bridgeport, which is the largest city in CT.  If you run for office there, you're not going to be elected unless you're a Democrat....they have almost a 3-1 edge over the GOP.  Even so, the recent gubernatorial race proves that the GOP is making progress....just not enough, as "Lamont The Lame" won last year.  Sad

Current home of Cook County would vote Democratic in an election where the Republican is running unopposed.

Original home county of Lake, IL has shifted to Likely D at the federal level and Lean D for state-level races.
