But see, what makes Obama ineligible for the office of President? (You’re not wrong. A court could rule that the 12th Amendment and 22nd Amendment read together preclude a term-limited President from becoming Vice President. That’s probably what the drafters of the 22nd Amendment intended. But it’s not how the text literally reads.)
