Fox News 2018 Voter Analysis

Fox News has launched an improved approach for analyzing Americans’ priorities and vote preferences on Election Day. The Fox News Voter Analysis combines survey data from NORC at the University of Chicago with voting results from The Associated Press. As more people vote early or by mail, the new method overcomes the limitations of in-person exit polls and captures the views of all Americans by integrating probability-based, state-by-state surveys with a massive online poll. The FNVA survey will show results from all 47 states in which there is a contested statewide election this November.

Huh, WI Hispanics broke just ever so slightly for Walker.  Otherwise, it wasn't even close anywhere else.

I like those numbers. So much for identity politics! White Beto O'Rourke clearly outperforming hispanic Lupe Valdez amongst hispanics, while running against a hispanic (Cruz) and Valdez was running against an old white guy (Greg Abbott).

The Fox and CNN exit polls really wildly differ. Latinos are at 7% in the CNN and only at 3% in Fox. With how the Hispanic population is increasing in PA, I'll take the 7%.

Small sample sizes usually have big errors, the Hispanic voter population in the Rust Belt is tiny especially so in WI so the #'s aren't worth much.

I guess 5.5-6% is reasonable.
