BACKGROUND

After months and months of calling it impossible, it happened. Donald Trump was re-elected to a second term as president of the United States.

Donald Trump / Mike Pence - 399 EVs
Beto O'Rourke / Sherrod Brown - 139 EVs

The term was marred by scandal and turmoil, most notably, Paul Manafort was pardoned by the President, and Robert Mueller was murdered, reportedly by an official close to the President, biological hazards were sent to more than half of the judges on the United States Supreme Court, as well as Democratic leaders, and much, much more.

At this point, the political parties became more polarized and moved much farther away from each other on the political spectrum. The Democratic Party had become the party of socialism, atheism, education, civil rights, and gun control, while the Republican Party had become the party of incest, pedophilia, Christianity, white supremacy, misogyny, violence, and beastiality.

Due to the increasing amount of political division, any election is bound to cause violence.

I feel like Gardner doesn't really belong in the same category as all the other Republican poll options...

FMR. REP. PEARCE, REP. OCASIO-CORTEZ, AND SEN. STEWART ANNOUNCE PRESIDENTIAL CAMPAIGNS

Former New Mexico Representative, Steve Pearce, announces that he will run for President. Pearce said that "women's suffrage has been ruining the chances of the Republican party for 100 years. It's high time that it's done away with," and "African-Americans, they've done worse to ruin the prospects of the Republican Party, have you seen how disloyal they are to the President? That's another group that will be stripped of their voting rights."

Senator Corey Stewart of Virginia, who narrowly defeated incumbent Mark Warner by 600 votes, has also announced that he will seek the nation's highest office. Stewart said that "bestiality is God's will, why else would he suggest it to Adam?" He later stated that he would pardon Freddie Wadsworth, a man from Douglasville, Georgia who was arrested for engaging in sexual intercourse with a goat.

Representative Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez announced that she will seek the office of President. The New York representative stated that she will "make sure that President Trump dies in jail." and "Guarantee that the complete and total separation of church and state becomes a complete and unalienable right."

DESANTIS NAMES CONTROVERSIAL CAMPAIGN CHAIRS

Presidential candidate Ron DeSantis has named campaign chairs across the nation, some being quite controversial. One such of these campaign chairs being Lisa Nancollas of Pennsylvania. A former Mifflin County commissioner, Nancollas came under fire for posting anti-Muslim rhetoric on her Facebook page. She defended it, saying that she "will never apologize for protecting our freedoms."

Another DeSantis campaign chair, Cindy Hyde-Smith has quite the history of channeling racism. During her 2018 Senate campaign, she stated that if she were invited to a public hanging she'd "be in the front row," she also appeared in a Facebook photo at the home of Jefferson Davis, wearing a Confederate hat and holding a rifle.

Former FBI agent John Guandolo has been appointed by DeSantis as his Texas campaign chairman. Guandolo has a history of making anti-Muslim comments, and has trained law enforcement in San Angelo, Texas; while promoting known falsehoods and extreme rhetoric.

I see DeSantis was inspired by Bolsonaro's success in Brazil.

MOORE, AVENATTI, ANNOUNCE RUNS FOR PRESIDENT

Alabama Senator Roy Moore, who defeated Doug Jones in a rematch by a very slim margin of 50 votes, announced that he will run for President. Pictured is Moore holding a gun, he goes onto say "if you see anybody who follows Islam, or doesn't believe in the Christian god, you'll be able to use one of these on 'em." Moore has the endorsement of the American Family Association.

Michael Avenatti, the lawyer who represented Stormy Daniels against President Trump, says that he will run for President of the United States. Avenatti said that "The Republicans want to use violence towards us, but nobody in the Democratic Party wants to fight back. I'm running to make sure that changes, that the Democrats and Republicans are engaged in a civil war."

MODERATE REPUBLICANS & DEMOCRATS FORM NEW CENTRIST PARTY

Republicans Rob Portman, Charlie Baker, and John Kasich; as well as Democrats Phil Murphy and Phil Bredesen, announce the formation of the Unity-Moderate Party. This party is more socially moderate, while tending to be more fiscally conservative. John Kasich said that "this party is a call-back to the average voter, not to alienate them more than either party already has." Another important issue of the party is preserving national unity. Phil Murphy said that "everyday Americans get more and more divided, we want to stop that."
