Establishing an office thread here. Tonight I basically went through everything and gave my input on every bill. I also updated the noticeboard. As a heads up, I知 going to be enforcing the Yankee rule (with some leniency if the poster is offline but if you are getting into flame wars on USGD not so much) on all threads I administer.

I知 off to bed tonight but feel free to ask my questions.

Just as a heads up, there are 3 senate passed bills, including a Zaybay and Yankee amendment once I値l see if the House can handle the load (just unsure if we can because we池e stalled on the PFA).

So, the day has finally come.

I have served in office for 13 months consecutively. First, as two terms as Fremont MP, including one as speaker, and three terms as Fremont FM. And then, things got crazy in a way that I didn't expect.

I ran for VP with Sestak on top of the ticket and launched that campaign in late December. And then I ended up as VP early following MB's departure from the office via an appointment. And then Sestak was forced to leave the game, and I ended up running for president against an opponent that also decided to run at the last moment. I quite frankly, looking back on it, didn't run the best of campaigns, but such campaign has certainly changed my perception on the game. And now, I'm a lame duck Vice President, an office in which I intended to be elected to in my own right rather than appointed. And now, I'm about to be out of office.

I'm gonna be honest and say I haven't had the opportunity to have incoming relations with the incoming administration that I would have hoped, and that's probably due to lack of communication on my end. Nevertheless, they have a number of challenges to face, raging from the high Senate turnover to maintaining the coalition that beat me to managing egos to dealing with Discord and its rising use to completing a budget. And for the sake of the game, I hope they succeed.

As for what happened in my tenure as formal VP, I'm not going to lie and say it was uber eventful. Still, I enjoyed my tenure, something in which other VP's have admitted they have not. I did enjoy working with and debating bills with Congress in my short time, and I do think this session of Congress wasn't as bad as advertised and better than the previous.

My time in said office is up, however. I am sure I will hold office in this game again, but for the first time in 13 months, I won't. Until next time, goodbye.

You too, man! Maybe I値l be elected to the Senate sometime (not that I don稚 love the current 2 Fremont Senators considering I helped elect both) and we値l get to serve in the chamber together.
