Vukmir is one of the most odious candidates running this cycle, that the WI GOP supports her over Nicholson really baffles me.

Because she's one of them and Nicholson is not. Like 75% of the Republican power base is in the Southeast part of the state. Republicans like to make the claim that Democrats are nothing but Madison/Milwaukee liberals, but at least their leadership is from La Crosse and Oshkosh. Western and Northern Wisconsin Republicans really play second fiddle to those from the Milwaukee orbit.

Another solid gold ad from Vukmir.

Can someone watch the whole thing? I was too disgusted by this screencap to watch it all the way.

I watched it a couple days ago... awful ad.

Video emerges of Vukmir mocking Trump supporters:

What a condescending coastal elitist!...Oh, wait.

I expect Nicholson to take back the lead from this.

I asked my uncle from TN how he would vote in a GE between Black and Dean, he said if Diane Black wandered onto a active major intersection he would whisper "look out Diane", I share a similar sentiment for Vukmir. Her ad with the "union bosses" alone makes her unfit to serve, and frankly would do us all a service if she just left our country.

Ok, I feel very frustrated that I have to wait 14 more weeks to see both Vukmir and Nicholson lose.

Nicholson is clearly a better candidate than Vukmir. His schtick may not be successful, but at least he can write. Vukmir's stuff reeks of baby boomer trying to be millennial hip. Nicholson has a much greater chance of being able to convince pretty much any swing voter.

If this video doesn't gain traction and Vukmir wins the primary, a greater than 10-point victory for Baldwin isn't out of the question.

Nicholson is meh, but I could see him appealing to some of the rural areas with his Former Democrat Marine Outsider schtick. Vukmir will appeal to nobody outside of WOW, and WOW would already vote for any warm body with an (R) next to its name anyway, so that doesn't mean much.

Well, I think the video will not be an issue in the primary.

Nicholson didn't even tweet about it. Probably didn't comment either. I would...considering that Vukmir has been attacking him a lot.

Not really relevant to the rest, but my gf and I met Vukmir at the state fair over the weekend. I felt like I needed to wash my hands after shaking hers. She asked us "Are you conservatives?" and we both awkwardly went "Yeah..." and the guy taking the photo said "Wait, let's get one for the campaign" and snapped another photo, so if anyone sees Vukmir posing with an awkward ugly blond boy, let me know so I can file a lawsuit. Also she's very short. There was also a pin at the GOP booth in the expo center that spelled "oppression" as "opression".

Though I sadly didn't get to meet any Dem candidates at the Dem booth, I got my hands on a nifty Feingold pin. I later walked past the GOP booth wearing the pin to see if I could get any reactions. Sadly, I did not.

Well, maybe I should stop sharing my random episodes of life with random people on the Internet that don't care. That was all.

I would've just flat out denied her any photo. She's nuts.

I would have worn a "Repeal and go f**k yourself" t-shirt like that hero did with Ryan.

Oh come on that's really trashy, let's be better than them!!  I don't like Ryan at all and I hardly ever give him praise, but he was a class act and a good sport for this:

You might get some temporary satisfaction out of this kind of crap, but in the long run, things like this make us and those kind of people look like the not good guys.

...you are an utterly strange individual. You made a joke about a Republican candidate getting injured in a car accident and think gerrymandering is totally cool as long as Democrats do it, but somehow taking a picture with a funny t-shirt next to Paul Ryan is one step too far? Huh

I don't think I made a joke, I think I just said the dem should keep campaigning regardless, and I don't think gerrymandering is cool if dems do it, I just say it would be slightly less worse because we have ground to make up for all the unfair gop manders. That shirt was simply low class and trashy.

Crowd building to see Bernie Sanders campaign with Senator Baldwin, Tony Evers, Mandela Barnes, and Randy "Iron Stache" Bryce in Milwaukee.

Obama will also be in Milwaukee on Friday with an even with the above crew, plus Dan Kohl (I'm not sure if he's going to be at the Sanders event today). Finally Trump will be in the state on Wednesday, doing an airport rally outside of Wausau. Will be interesting to see what state Republicans show up for him there other than Vukmir.

Ok wow, as if there was any question why this chick is getting crushed in the polls: Vukmir essentially placed the blame for the package bombs today on Baldwin...

Even if Democrats fall short of expectations, it'll be satisfying to see someone as awful as Vukmir get a bare-bottom spanking from Baldwin.
