She withdraws -- that would certainly be the best-case scenario.

It's totally going to depend on her performance.

I still think she'll get confirmed.  If it goes to a vote, she'll get confirmed...the question is whether she's withdrawn.

I think she'll withdraw under White House pressure.

It would be awsome if she didn't pull through, so of course she will.

After he support for quotas made the news, a number of Republican Senators have quietly let the White House know Miers is toast.

I believe they (the White House) is preparing for her withdrawl.

Either that, or she doesn't make it out of committee.

I saw George Allen at a fundraiser for a delegate here in VA.  I was shocked that the brought up the the nomination and that he wasn't very supportive  of her.  My guess is that rather than being embarrassed by a loss she'll be convinced to withdraw.

Options 2 or 3 would be the best from my "Keep the news entertaining" point of view, but it'd also be nice if she gets withdrawn/withdraws.

One of the withdraw options, probably she withdraws knowing that she is loyal to the President's wishes.
