Between Mitch's comments today that supported cutting medicare, medicaid, and social security,  and Trump's horseface tweet, as well as Trump's defense of the authoritarian regime in Saudi Arabia, I have to wonder. After all, why are they doing all of this just 21 days out from the election, and totally distracting voters from things that could benefit them like good economic news or the Kavanaugh bump?

12 dimensional chess or at least Trump keeps gambling big and winning. Sometimes luck is better than skill.

Yes, it's all part of their 12.5 dimensional chess plan. Of course, if they end up keeping the House, then it actually turns out that's part of their plan.

No one takes Republicans seriously when it comes to cutting Medicare or Social Security, not even themselves.  Even with Medicaid, it's hard to take them seriously in doing anything more than opposing expansion or tinkering at the margins.  Trump's insults have never hurt him before, why would they now? Trump's defense of Saudi Arabia is a continuation of his existing pattern of responding to authoritarian regimes that do bad things. The OP seriously needs to work on his parody game.
